- Cancel or adjust insurances

Prepare Documents
Make sure documents are obtained, apostilled, or legalized in time:
- Birth certificate or equivalent civil-status document
- Police clearance or criminal record certificate
- Passport with sufficient validity
- Additional evidence depending on family status, profession, solvency, and residence category
Finances
- Check accounts and cards for international transfers
- Bring cash only in a safe, legal, and documented amount
- Document source of funds for banking and property transactions
- Compare current exchange rates and fees
Health
- Review vaccinations and travel medicine individually
- Prepare medication for the first months and prescriptions
- Clarify dental care, preventive care, and long-term medication before departure
