Joaquín Maldonado Hiestand is a Paraguayan civil engineer and managing partner of Prenzlau Ingeniería + BIM, a German-Paraguayan firm backed by a German engineering company founded in 1991, with more than 30 years of experience in civil, industrial, and energy projects.

    Founding partner & managing director, Prenzlau Ingeniería + BIM

    Leads a German-Paraguayan structural engineering firm with industrial and civil projects in countries such as Germany, Hungary, the United States, and Paraguay.

  2. 2024

    Structural engineering, Pib – Prenzlauer Ingenieurbüro

    Training in structural engineering in Germany, taught by lecturers from HTW Berlin. Worked on petrochemical, energy, and civil projects.

  3. 2022-2023

    Resident engineer, Distrito Perseverancia

    Construction site management for the Marfil and Cobalto corporate towers. High-rise building (> 100 m) with ISO and LEED certification.

  4. 2021-2022

    Civil engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

    Civil engineering studies in Taipei, Taiwan.
